Smoke. Caustic smoke. You see that some wildflowers have managed to crawl over the structure. The flowers bloom long beyond their season. The points at which the stems touch the glassy edge of the bulb produce a seemingly endless volume of smoke. It sizzles and wisps up into the sky. There are no stars.
